OK. Hello again! (I think, things are still going to be up and down in a literal sense for the next 12 hours at least…

Some things are a little bit broken, some things still need fixing, but after coding in the sweltering heat overnight and remembering how to use Debian, Plesk, SSH and fake nameserver IPs, I at least have…. Something for the time being.

The best bit of news of course is that after 13 years (Yes, 13 years) with the same hosting package that never really got any updates from my hosting provider’s end (Aside from moving from MySQL to MaharaDB and updates to PHP versions), moving to a cloud VPS server means that load times are down from what seemingly was weeks when I needed to do updates and maintainiance to something that would work… Before I could make a proper brew!

This will help with some of my upcoming projects, more information coming soon. Of course, I could be nice and say that Jupiter did all the hard work for me like a good boy. He is of course a good boy, but he’s not yet passed his ‘Coding for Dogs’ NVQ. Maybe next time!
